Dr. A.J. Plese
Education: Graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractic where he learned the latest advancements in chiropractic. He received his Bachelor's degree in kinesiology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he found a passion for promoting health and wellness. Dr. Plese continued his education by completing over 150 hours in a post-doctorate program in the field of functional neurology.

We are excited that you are considering our office for care! Recently, Dr. AJ Plese assumed a new role as the chief operating officer of Circadian Rejuvenation. Dr. Plese saw the need to offer multiple services and modalities under one roof. Teaming up with Dr. James Altizer to offer regenerative therapies, antiaging protocols and IPL laser Circadian Rejuvenation is the first facility to cover every need of each patient. Dr. AJ Plese’s skills of running the day-to-day operations for his Chiropractic clinic, Priester Chiropractic, over the past 5 years makes him the ideal candidate to run the day-to-day business operations for Dr. James Altizer in order for him to provide the best regenerative and antiaging services. The creation of Circadian Rejuvenation has taken away the need to travel to several doctors’ offices and drastically cuts down on the waiting period to first be scheduled and secondly to receive treatment! Dr. AJ Plese has kept the legacy of Priester Chiropractic going into their 71st year as a business and will provide the same great service through Dr. James Altizer and Circadian Rejuvenation.
Dr. James Altizer
Education: Graduated from Davidson College in 1981 and immediately entered the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. After receiving his MD degree in 1985, he traveled to Augusta, GA to complete a 3 year internship and residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Altizer spent 11 years as a board-certified Internist. During his 17 years as a Phlebologist (vein disease specialist) he became Board Certified in Phlebology. He is also doubly credentialed in ultrasound.
Experience: Dr. Altizer loves research and is constantly looking for new way to improve his craft and provide a higher quality of care for his patients. His greatest strengths are his integrity, ethics, and honesty. If he does not feel like you are a candidate for a procedure, he will tell you. There is no question Dr. Altizer has become the face of stem cell and regenerative therapies in this area. He has performed thousands of injections in the past 4 years, making him by far the most experienced and well known medical doctor performing stem cell and regenerative therapies in the Carolinas. He has appeared countless times on Charlotte Today over the past 4 years, usually taking with him grateful patients who love telling their stories.
